Best home workout equipment: Gravity Fitness Portable Pull Up Rack

Gravity Fitness Portable Pull Up Rack is my favorite home workout equipment. It's very versatile, portable, and durable at the same time.

For the last few years, I have been working remotely full-time.

Working remotely has a lot of benefits, like not having to commute to the office every day, but it also means I will be spending a lot of time at my house.

Also, while working remotely as a software engineer is excellent in many ways, it has a massive downside of it being stationary.

Most days while working, and even when not working, I try to take regular breaks where I do some little exercises and stretches.

While doing some simple workouts at home doesn’t necessarily mean that I need to have a total-blown home gym built, there is some good home workout equipment that can significantly help with some exercises.

Out of all the home workout equipment I have tried and used so far, nothing comes remotely close to the Gravity Fitness Portable Pull Up Rack.

Why I like Gravity Fitness Portable Pull Up Rack

I use Gravity Fitness Pull Up rack daily and have used it since I purchased it in 2020.

Portable

While I don’t think that the Gravity Fitness Pull up rack is very portable, I think it’s as portable as it can be.

Weighing almost 20 kilos, it’s not the most accessible piece of equipment to move around, but it’s not impossible either.

The rack stays assembled most of the time, but I do move it around from time to time, especially during summer when I like to use it outdoors.

Easy to set up and disassemble

While I love portable accessories and equipment, it often comes at the cost of either bad build quality or a wrong setup process. From my perspective, this is not the case for Gravity Fitness Pull Up rack.

I have the rack fully set up most of the time, and I do not set it up and disassemble it on daily bases, but occasionally I do the whole set up and dismantling process.

This pull-up rack is easy to set up from good quality steel pieces attached nicely with small metal attachments.

Setting up Gravity Fitness Pull Up rack is quite easy with small metal attachments.

Versatile

It is amazing how versatile this rack is and how many different exercises can be done.

You can do pull-ups with different grips.

Push-ups.

Leg raises.

Dips.

Press-ups.

Levers both front and back.

And it doesn’t stop there as you can get some resistance bands, which can be a massive helper for easy learning of these different exercises.

Gravity Fitness Portable Pull Up Rack can be used with resistance bands as well.

Who do I recommend Gravity Fitness Portable Pull Up Rack

Before I got my pull-up rack, I had little to no experience with all the different bodyweight exercises that can be done, so I was quite a newbie.

This didn’t stop me from starting with all the exercises with the help of some resistance bands.

So I can recommend Gravity Fitness Portable Pull Up rack for inexperienced fitness enthusiasts who want to learn all the different bodyweight exercises that can be done with this rack.

While I think the rack suits beginners, it can certainly do for experienced athletes.

Gravity Fitness Portable Pull up rack is the best home workout equipment, especially for remote workers.

I have the rack set up in my office, where I spend most of my workdays, making it easy and accessible to do quick workouts and stay active.

Sometimes I stretch my back by just hanging from the bar.
